OUGD603 - Brief 12 - Art & Design Year Book - Initial meeting

Myself and Adam recently signed up to collaborate on the Art and Design year book. Both of us are passionate about editorial design and i was keen to put myself forward to create a book that would be mass produced for the end of year show. I thought for my last brief it would be great to work on a real product in conjunction with clients and the marketing department at Leeds College of art. It will also be a new challenge to work with a budget and print restrictions in mind.

Myself and Adam had a meeting with the Art and Design tutor and a select number of students to find out more about what they wanted to get out of the year book.

They told us that the theme was 'Precipice' as the course is in it's final year the book should be representative as the end of one thing and start of another.

The team had also created a wall of inspiration to help us understand their perception of Precipice. The wall was slightly over whelming and me and Adam had to go away to process.
