I decided to opt for a strong spot colour. The green is vibrant and eye catching. It also connote freshness and youthfulness.
I created a number of different poster layouts to show to the rest of the team. I considered a number of different layouts and was conscious of the hierarchy of text.
I was also in charge of writing a manifesto for the brief. I decided that the manifesto might work well as a poster so i went about designing that. Above is the final poster. I think it is strong an eye-catching. I was keen to make the 'WE ARE' the focal point of the poster which i did my utilising the strong green colour.
The next stage of the development was to create the online presence. We used the colour and decided to experiment with GIFs so that the online platform was more dynamic and interactive.
From the GIF idea we also created a E-vite using the same gif format, seen above.
We also designed fliers. The fliers would be printed with just the WE ARE slogan on. The flyers would then be written on by leeds college of art students, this is an idea we developed to include all of the graduating students thus promoting the sense of inclusion.
